Transparency to our investors

Vicinity participates in a number of investor surveys annually to communicate our sustainability approach and performance with investors and other interested stakeholders.

This year, we participated in the Dow Jones Sustainability Index (DJSI), CDP (formerly the Carbon Disclosure Project) and the Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB).

The performance of Vicinity’s managed portfolio as benchmarked by the above investor surveys significantly improved compared to last year. This demonstrates the progress made over the past 12 months in implementing our Sustainability strategy and approach, positioning our business as a sustainability leader in the Australian property sector.

Silver Class Sustainability Award 2018


Vicinity Centres has received the Silver Class Sustainability Award 2018, and has been included in RobecoSAM 2018 Sustainability Yearbook, as one of the world’s most sustainable companies in the real estate industry.

The Yearbook recognises companies that are strongly positioned to create long-term shareholder value supported by their approach to sustainability. The Silver Class distinction is awarded to companies that score within the top 5% in the industry.
