About Vicinity Centres

Vicinity Centres is one of Australia’s largest retail property groups, and a top-40 entity listed on the Australian Securities Exchange, trading as Vicinity Centres (ASX:VCX).

As at 30 June 2018, we own and manage 82 retail assets across Australia, with over $27.7 billion in assets under our management. Our directly-owned portfolio includes 74 centres valued at $16.4 billion. We also manage assets on behalf of our joint venture partners and wholesale fund investors, known as ‘strategic partners’.

Vicinity’s flagship asset, Chadstone, is Australia’s leading shopping, dining and entertainment destination. Located in Victoria, Vicinity’s 50% interest in Chadstone represents approximately 19% of the Direct Portfolio’s value, and has generated over $2.0 billion in annual retail sales during 2018.

The majority of Vicinity’s earnings are derived from rental income from our retail tenants. Hundreds of millions of consumers visit our centres every year, generating $18.2 billion in annual sales for our retail partners.

Our national office is located in Melbourne, Australia, with regional offices in Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide and Perth. We employ over 1,300 people across our centres and corporate offices nationwide.
