Vicinity Centres is one of Australia’s leading retail property groups.

We own and manage 82 shopping centres across Australia, from local neighbourhood centres to market leading destinations that compete on an international stage including Chadstone Shopping Centre, Emporium Melbourne, Sydney’s Queen Victoria Building, The Galeries and the Strand Arcade, Queens Plaza in Brisbane and a quality portfolio of DFO centres.

We do this by delivering the best retail mix and engaging experiences to attract consumers and support our retail partners, enhancing our portfolio quality through select retail and mixed-use developments, divestments and acquisitions, and intensively managing our centres to drive income growth and operational efficiencies.

Sustainability is an important driver of the long-term risk-adjusted performance of Vicinity and creates shared value for Vicinity and our stakeholders.

As such, our broader sustainability objectives are integrated into our Group level strategy. We put all of our stakeholders – our investors, consumers, retailers, partners, people and the broader communities in which we operate – at the heart of everything we do, as we strive to create sustainable destinations that shape better communities.

Sustainability reporting

We regularly report on our sustainability approach and performance to our stakeholders.

In 2017 Vicinity stopped producing an annual stand-alone sustainability report as part of our move to Integrated Reporting. We report our sustainability performance and highlights in our Annual Integrated Report each year, with this website housing detailed information.
