Health and wellbeing has been a major focus for Vicinity in FY17.
During the year, we launched our new wellbeing program to support our team members in having a better work life balance and live happy healthy lives.
The program covers a range of aspects important to a person’s overall health and wellbeing, and focuses specifically on five elements – mental health, physical health, nutrition, financial health and physical activity. Vicinity offers a range of corporate discounts and services to our people across the five focus areas of our program. For example, Vicinity has implemented comprehensive health checks for all executives and senior leaders, and offered free services such as skin checks, flu vaccinations and corporate massages to all employees.
A number of other company benefits additionally support our wellbeing program, such as flexible working arrangements and a variety of leave options to help employees balance personal and professional responsibilities. These include formal and informal flexible working programs, paid parental leave, personal or carers leave, study leave, volunteer leave, a ThankYou day to recognise hard work during the year and a complementary day off on their birthday.
